COSCO in the port of Zeebrugge

In November 2017, the Chinese group COSCO, via its COSCO Shipping Ports (CSP) subsidiary, has taken control of the container terminal in the Belgian port of Zeebrugge. Having already bought stakes in Antwerp (2004) and Rotterdam (2016) container terminals, COSCO aims to make Zeebrugge its main hub in the North Sea.
